Barnegat Motel

This was my first time staying here. I stayed three days room 11. The owners are so nice. The room was very spacious and very clean. There is a fridge and microwave, WiFi, cable and the water pressure is great. It was very quiet which is what I was looking for. I know I will be back again. I highly recommend it.

Stayed here a few nights in a row. The first 2 nights we started in room 12. It was great for the 2 of us. Nice sheets. Large bathroom, with a tub/shower, and the cleaning lady definitely did her job right (new towels, sheets etc) My only "gripe" would be, for $87/ night, there should be a coffee maker! We switched to room 8 bc reservations were made for the weekend. The owner offered us the weekend for the same rate as during the week, which was nice. However, room 8 was smaller than 12. The shower was one of those 3X3 stall types. There was still a mini fridge and microwave so I really can't complain. Only issue is no coffee maker! Also, the web page says "In sight of the Atlantic Ocean". Let me tell you right now, the ocean is several miles away. You CAN NOT SEE THE OCEAN. However, it's definitely cheaper than staying on Long beach island, plus you get everything you need (except coffee).

Great place to stay!! It's very quiet and the atmosphere is so relaxing. This motel would be adorable in a winter setting. The owners come off a little cold during your first conversation but after that they are all about making sure your stay at their motel their first priority. Rooms could be updated but stil very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again

Great owners great maintenance staff and cleaning staff. Maggie and Greg take great pride in keeping the grounds clean and keeping it on the rooms. The owners will give you the shirts off the back as long as you respect the place. They are great with any reasonable accommodations you ask for They work very well with people who have to kids to ensure everyone is comfortable They offer regular rooms and efficiencies

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, quiet and cozy place to spend your off time, look no further. I would recommend this place to anybody. The owner is great! He has gone above and beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable. Nice cozy, clean and comfortable rooms with a nice relaxing atmosphere on the property. Enjoying my stay as we speak. Five out of five stars across-the-board.

Was $10 cheaper than originally quoted. Rooms are a bit tack and out dated but bed is comfortable and room was clean and smelt clean. Wifi needs a password but guests can ask for it. Only real complaint is the bed cover had cigarette burn hole in it in non smoking room. Fridge and microwave also very clean. Would recommend for short stays. Owner was very nice.

My son and I stayed in this little gem while visiting friends in Barnegat. It was absolutely precious. Yes it’s outdated and older but that’s what made it so special. It was very clean. Beds were made and fresh towels replaced daily. Owners were very nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back again. It was very convenient to where our friends lived, it was just right around the corner from them. We would highly recommend. It was reasonably priced. We travel often and this was by far one of my favorite places we have stayed.

If you want to stay somewhere that feels like a home, and is family owned..this is your kind of place. The rooms are not like your normal hotel..more European style. They are clean and simple. Every room has a refrigerator and microwave . I and many friends have stayed in the motel and never had an issue. There are a few different style rooms also. And they are about half the price of any other hotel, and it's not a party ( trouble )hotel, it's always quiet.
